During a wine diner. Golden yellow. Nose of flowers, honey, some buttery scents, vanilla and oak. Medium-full bodied, unctuous on the palate but not as heavy as CA Chard sometimes is. Good balance and enough freshness to support the body. Monte Bello quality, what can you say.
Nice mellow nose and flavors, which could use a little spark. Smells of meyer lemon and caramel, but not oakey or buttery. Creamy on the palate with a long finish, with flavors that changed across the length of the palate. Really smooth and well integrated. Maybe I didn't have it cold enough, but I think it could have used a little brightness. A touch more acidity would have been nice.
