Bought the bottle at auction. Concerned it was past prime - not the case. The bottle was stored properly. The cork was tight with no rising on the sides. The wine drank fantastic. Strawberry high notes grounded with black berries and very light plum. Beautifully balanced. A pleasure to drink.

Deep and brooding cherry on the nose. Forest floor and pine with more cherry in the mouth, but the backbone is breaking down and oak/heat/sweetness is coming through. Not flabby per se, but definitely on the way out. The Peay syrahs are a thing of cold climate beauty at this age, but this Pinot doesn't quite have the structure I was hoping for.

Delightful. When compared to our Navarro Deep End, it was tarter and with a slightly shorter finish. Still delicious with a slight hint of forest floor that smoothed out for a lush finish.

This is a beautiful bottle of Pinot with cool minerality, bright raspberry fruit and subtle herbs. In good balance and ready to go.

Mellowed a bit with age. Popped and poured at cellar temp. Great nose with a blast of light fruit. Well balanced in flavor and acidity.
