Copper colored with a nice hint of dried cranberry on the robe with whiffs of lemon zest and buttery brioche . At a good place right now. Killer for appetizers or as a starter...

(NV Varnier-Fannière Rosé Brut) ($75.00) All cuvée, 20% ’06, 40% ’07 and 40% ’08, with 7% still Aÿ red. Blueberry confiture atop the apple and graphite; an exquisitely poised Rosé; feathery structure with almost adamant fruit; sandalwood and wild salmon.
