A vertical tasting of Château Duhart-Milon 1975-2012 (Restaurant Vineum, Rotterdam, NL): Mature but lively appearance, not sombre at all; light and fresh nose, vinous, with little or no fruit left, hint of separating acidity; light and bright but rounded palate, quite tannic for its year and with more fruit than I would have anticipated. A modest but nice surprise.

Nose: raisins, lavender, bergamot. Palate: woods, cedar, dark chocolate, eucalyptus. A little metallic and less complex than expected though. Gorgeous dark ruby color with very little bricking. Cork was saturated but I guess it held up long enough!
