Muted on the first night, this started out feeling quite savory and underfruited. I was wondering whether I need to stick to the Aux Fourneaux, Vergelesses and Marconnets bottlings. By night two, this had turned around and a pleasing touch of sap to the fruit emerged to project a lovely, slightly earthy mossy nose and a perfectly balanced and pleasing palate. Very Savigny and well worth the $35 price paid for this. In the end, very happy with this, as I usually am with Bize wines. 90-91, pushing 92 at times.
