tar and earthy nose, more in the mid palate joined by mild notes of rose petals and red/ black currants, dry finish; not showing a lot of character and may not have the stuff to do so; perhaps too soon to tell.

taste: a bit more open on the palate with medium/high acidity and medium/high tannins with good balanced tones of herbs, tar, spice tones, and bits of cherries. Fairly accessible for a young serralunga barolo
overall: good promise on this barolo, and it obviously needs time. Shockingly accessible for a barolo from this part of the region as it wasn't as unforgiving as other youing serralungas that I've had. still possses the robustness of the vineyard and should be really fun when it comes around

Earthy, leather and tobacco. Great expression of the region. Barolo at its best.

Too young to drink, wait and let it mellow.

I enjoyed a glass of this at a restaurant. Loved it, should add it to my cellar.
