From Magnum. Color is leaning towards the rusty spectrum. Nose is lovely. Smells of an aged burgundy, dusty fruit notes of cola. Palate is great as well. Nice acidity fruit not fading at all. Cherry, cola, Asian spices. Really nice.

I first drank this in 2013 and at the time would have given it a score in the mid 90's. I purchased a "found" bottle at a reputable retailer late last year, so not sure about the provenance. Given the recent high scores (today, coincidentally) perhaps this bottle wasn't kept perfectly. Old World Burgundy fans listen up, this bottle is for you. It's mature, dry, woody and very mellow. But I'm a new world fan and, thus, the lower score. But do keep in mind that this may not have been stored at optimal temps. The wine is a dark burgundy, going to brown, color demonstrating its' age. For me this bottle is just over the hill. There is rarely a P&H Pinot that I don't like, I just like them with less bottle age.

Tasty wine. Notes of red fruit, cherry, cola, spice box, wood, spice. Great with our DiGiornio pizza.

Clean nose, slight brown shade of red color. Decanted for an hour, and the wine was moderately tannic. With fruit in the background. Very good.
