Drank last night. This was the best Oregon pinot I have ever had. It is a benchmark example of what this style can aspire to be, and absolutely delicious. I would have to say it must be at its peak because it just couldn't be any better. What a pleasure.

Medium-dark red color with medium transparency. Spicy, floral aromas from the whole cluster treatment join with red and black berry. Palate is lush, but with enough acidity to avoid imbalance to my tastes. Focus here is strawberry, raspberry, and spice. Finish is medium-long. Drinking well, starting to pick up evidence of tertiary development with time in the glass. Pretty compelling to drink now, but will continue to evolve. Drink or hold.

On Disney Cruise. Close in quality to the '06 Eileen. Great whole cluster nose of cherries, raspberries, orange zest, flowers. Great depth of flavors, with very smooth tannins, spice, minerals. Always a favorite Oregon producer.

Decanted, drank from Riedel Oregon Pinot glasses. Light garnet with peachy bricking rim. Not really a big nose powdered minerals, dusty spice, dark berries, bit of orange peel. This has a great blood iron spine and a savory intensity. Great liquified rock texture that embeds itself on the tongue and in the mouth and just persists. Gevry-Chambertin-esque. Great Pinot.

flawed - too pooped to pop, over the hill, done for... waited too long with this one. Dang.
