  • This is my second bottle and it also didn't seem to hold up. Should have drank when it was young. Wine is cloudy in the glass, pruney nose. Doesn't taste oxidized interestingly, but clearly something is off.

  • This is everything a Napa Cab should be. There are dark fruits, especially, blackberries, floral notes, with leather and cigar box. Let it breather for at least two hours.

  • Nice fruit-forward wine, but a little too much prune especially on the nose. Perhaps it's a bit past its prime.

  • PnP, had with some casual fare at home...First night we drank half over 90 minutes, balance on day 2

Note from 2018:"Dark purple color. Nose showing black currant, herbs, coffee grounds. Palate showing dark fruits, cassis, licorice, vanilla and mineral notes. Smooth mouthfeel, tannins resolved. Still getting a bit of or "pruni-ness" on the back palate - perhaps by design just not expected. Showed better than last bottle...."

This showed well on the first night. Dark fruits on the nose, deep palate with black cherry, cassis and vanilla. Second night the "pruney" character was back.

This is best drank in one sitting. The wine improved in the glass and probably got to its best in 20 minutes. Second night it had gone downhill (IMO). This is a nice wine, my preference is for their estate cab over the prop red

  • Sexy. Waves of flavor that kept evolving over 2 hours in the decanter. Dark cherry and almost some garrigue. Still showing strong!
