The lightest of the German growing areas? Slate soil type? Slate, flatter, a little bit more gentle sloped growing sight. Slatey, pure nose, tense finish, intense mineral expression for $15. This is the halb-trocken and all the better for it.

Served in Restaurant Smör with some bouillabaisse. Paired reasonably well, but still I preferred the Julien Brocard Chablis that was also recommended for us. Much more mineral feel than last time - and altogether this was now more impressive. None of those estery and grapey aromas were present. Still not a huge fan of this wine, but I definately could give it the third opportunity. And probably fourth. And probably ad infinitum.

A bit estery nose with green apple, pear, citrus, white flowers and some minerality. A feinherb. Quite light with medium acidity. A somewhat sugary and grape-like aftertaste. Easy and simple. Perfectly drinkable - but that's it.

Here it is. Very high acidity balancing the sweetness. Almost dominated by its acidity.

Light nose, some very slight floral and slate notes. The palate is very nicely drinkable without any real complexity.
