Brought to drink at Oinoscent during service The bottle was uncorked at 17:30, no decant, tasted 19:00 -//- The wine shows medium intensity The nose seems to be heavily based on oak, almond, peanut, ripe stone fruit, peach, apricot and hazelnut, vanilla, but elegant altogether. In the palate, the wine shows the same profile, high acidity offering nerve, finely balanced with nutty notes, playing with ripe fruit, vanilla, biscuit, full body, brioche, long finish. Outstanding quality with a long life ahead. Needs time to open up, beware of the serving temperature

Drinking very well. Clean and fresh. Great intensity on both nose and palate. Great structure and beautiful fruit. Overall in a very good place right now.

2006 White and Red Burgundy (The Wine Club, San Francisco): Pale yellow. Subtle oak on the nose. Rich entry but takes a big dip in mid-palate. Not that concentrated nor is there a tremendous amount of flavor interest. A let down for a Corton Charlemagne.

Oxidized. Drinkable, but barely.
