Deep ruby-red colour , significant sediment at bottom of bottle. Aromas of fresh ripened red fruits, currants, and baking spices. Also got some licorice, tarriness and graphite. Very plush, full mouthfeel. Blackberries, currants and some licorice. Also some tar. Acidity normal, nice soft dusty tannins, spiciness. Decent length to the finish.
Ripe red berries, tar, oriental spices, weat stones and floral notes in the top. Concentrated for the varital, perfect acidity and mild tannins. A very decent Barbera d'Alba from a very skilled producer. On the top now and could go with nearly any food - not to spicy, fat or heavy.
Very floral and citrusy on the nose. Palate is wonderfully tart, with plenty of cranberries and raspberries, with touches tar, toasty oak, and orange rind. Medium bodied, with a long, full finish. Would recommend.
