Tasty. Still a nice acicidc liift, evident petrol nose, good minerality as you draw air over your palate. and tangerine/meyer lemon notes on the palate with some drying occiurring. Sufficiently evolved that it actually paired rather well with crab cake and sauteed softshell crabs, as well with raosted white corn with pepper... But I don't see the wine getting any better from here\.

Pop and pour. Golden yellow. The nose is one of the strongest petrol/kerosene aromatics I've found. Some underlying citrus as well. Excellent medium bodied aged Auslese. This enters bright and crisp with tart green apple and a bit of key lime. As this moves through the mid palate, into the finish, it takes on more of a creamy texture with more stone fruit notes. Still showing a strong structural backbone and a long, fresh finish. Singing right now.

Bright yellow gold. Tasted over two days. Day 1 showed a nose covered in petrol, but still offering some florals. Day 2 is a serious change with forward apricot and peach. Consistent palate both days with high acidity, honeyed white peach and apricot. Much of the sugar has integrated and while this is still quite fruity, it certainly is not cloying. Still showing an excellent finish with just a whisper of saline. Good intensity for a middle aged Auslese.

Ripping acids, some great minerals and a little fruit left. This is just great wine.
