  • My last bottle, what a nice run it's been. I would still consider this at its peak but still drinking well. Mixed red/black fruit, slightly sweet with a bit of earth/meat. Fully integrated medium acid/tannins. At 15.5% the alcohol is not noticeable. I would still recommend drinking sooner rather than later but given its track record since I've said that for the past three years it may continue to surprise. Great qpr.

  • Dark purple with ripe bing cherry nose. Tart tannins red, purple fruit, medium body, fairly well acid driven with restrained fruit and chewy tannins. The acid has kept this fresh and lively. Not as fruity as in the past, a pleasantly aged syrah. I haven't had a bottle for several years, time has been kind. Went through several cases with 3 left. One of the all time Berserker Day good buys.

  • No change from my bottle a year ago so I would say still at its peak but drink over the next year.

  • Dark ruby with majenta rim, Marionberry nose. Dry red berry with a light metallic note on the PnP, some heat in the back of the throat. Medium body and fruit with the characteristic spice, light tannins. Very well balanced, lovely wine. It does not take long for this to start to shine. An hour and the meaty rare steak presents itself. This is good stuff a night later. Spicey mineral fruit, nice acids, smooth tannins, drinking well with a little menthol on the finish.

  • Super right now on the PnP. Bright acidity, with a moderate body and fruit, smooth tannins on the finish. Very nicely integrated and balanced wine. No need to wait on drinking, enjoy this next year.
