Aromas of stone fruit; apricot over peach, also a little savoury note - almost mushroom, touches of orange, almond meal. Rich and fleshy on the palate, off dry, positively decadent...went very well with crispy thai pork belly and, unsurprisingly, by itself.

Difficult to work out how this could be any better. Apricots and lime starburst sweets. Rich oily texture and lots of acidity to keep things clear, with the whole in glorious balance. One of life’s great experiences.

Coravin fun - German Riesling plus ring in (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Slightly concentrated stone fruit, orange, a little almond meal/marzipan, a touch of baking spice and custard apple. Medium plus intensity acidity stone fruit, very slightly bitter, orange peel underpin, textured burr, beautifully balanced. Nice.

Simply spectacular riesling. This wine is loaded, one does not know where to start to describe it. Loaded and yet, light on its feet. Endless finish and palate allures with array of 'goods'. There is a great elegance and pureness of the fruit which is framed by a delicious acid. All that nestled in a soft blanket of "high octane" petrol. Super-duper lovely!

light amber in color, the sweetness has evolved to a subtle back-note, no notable petrol, apricot and present, but not obvious acidity
