At this point, the wood influence is beginning to take over as the fruit dies out. Toasty creme bruleé and hazelnut nose with faint pear. Some honey and light marshmallow with a suggestion of browned butter. Creamy on the palate with a lot of wood notes. Poached pear and crusty, brioche with hints of cinnamon, brown sugar, and other baking spice. Finished on a toasty, nutty tone. Retains pretty good acid throughout. Drink now. Like, NOW!

Showing its big older fruit, and showing it off well. Very mellow acids at this point, hedonistic, big, touch hot, bubble gum, a lazy boy but lovely and delicious. Works at $35.
