Surprisingly good for a weird-o Cab blend. To me, the Cab dominated--but folks really enjoyed it. Great value for something from S. Am. with a little interest.

Below average. Nose of stewed red fruits & alcohol-soaked wood. Palate isn't much better--astringent, thin, bitter. There is a trace of greenness sometimes typical of South American wines, but it's just overdone and far beyond a fresh, green streak. Finish is over-acidic with a touch of red fruit hiding beneath. "Finish" disappears quickly.

Many of the less than favorable notes diappear after aerating. Worth a try.

Not enough tannins or acid to balance the extremely jammy fruitiness
