Surprise wine for the price, fruit is overwhelming with a balanced mix of wild berries ,ripe prunes, cinnamon and vanilla. Soft tannins on the palate and medium to long after taste

Spicy merlot... could've passed for a Washington bottling. Black raspberries, currants, cinnamon, clove, cigar box and a touch of bitter chocolate. Aromatics are mirrored on the velvety palate. Tannins are still rustic angular but should subside with decanting or a year of cellaring. For $13 this is a great QPR.
