(Reinhold Haart Piesporter Kabinett) The first of the wines with noticeable residual sugar. Very fruity nose. Loads of fruit pith on the nose. Lovely fruit on the palate with the acid a but low. Creamy, rich and ripe. A wine to knock back.

Not sure how to score this. Having been brought up on crisper flintier Australian riesling, with the occassional bottle from Alsace this wine smells like vitamin C, and tastes like pineapple juice. Given some of the other reviews I could be missing something here, but for me the fruit is too forward and it lacks complexity.

Light gold, viscous. Rich with gobs of pear and apricot nectar. Fruit forward with a nice whetstone component with decent acidity for short-term aging. Recommended.

A racy and vibrant Riesling Kabinett, with a great amount of minerals and acidity but on the other hand lovely apples, pears, cassis and hints of tropical fruits. So far the best effort on the table. Very complete and complex for 10€!! Interesting stuff.
