Good acidity, nice honeydew and apple fruit. Not the buttery, oaky Chard of California, a completely different style. Tasty, but a little one-dimensional for my palate. I was looking for a little more "oomph", and was sort of underwhelmed with this effort. I don't think that it was over the hill, just different than I was expecting/hoping.

Well I didn't wait a full year but 10 months made a huge difference on this. Not astringent at all. Smooth and creamy balance. In fact, one of the best Chardonnays in terms of balance that I've had in awhile. Gentle oak and delicious fruit. I wish I had more. (4+12+17+8) = 91

Light yellow/gold, about 10% opaque. Medium nose of lychee, peach, grapefruit, lemon, and lots of steel. Flavors confirmed with added minerality and astringent alcohol and acidity. Comes across as un-oaked with no butter present and only the slightest hint of wood. Really a lot of heat showing through a medium finish. I think I would like it better in another year. (5+11+14+7) = 87
