BTG in an LA restaurant (translation is I paid the bottle price for one glass!!) This was better than the Piper I had the day before. Still fairly anonymous but the rose has a bit more going on to make it interesting. Really nice berry flavors and can stand up to food. Not a bad choice at all

A gift from a friend along with some cubes to make champagne cocktails. Super cute and delicious with the cubes, but we all preferred the champagne on its own. Just a classic rose, great for sipping on Christmas morning

This bottle was stored for4+ years prior to drinking. Dark rose/pink color. Strawberry and cherry. Strong cassis element. Nice acidity. Tried it with roasted goose and it worked quite well. A champagne that goes well with stronger food.

Mid-Autumn BBQ Bubblies (Park Hotel, Clarke Quay): Very deep, dark coloured rose, almost like a Ribena drink. I thought this was very decent, but pretty anonymous. Cherries, strawberries on both the nose and palate, wiith a touch of flowers and cassis floating around. Decent fresh balance, nice depth on the palate and a pretty finish with more juicy fruit. Nice for a BBQ night on the patio, but did not leave too much of an impression on me. This was overshadowed by a more subtle and classier Henri Giraud Esprit Brut Rose which was in the same price bracket.
