Quite neutral on the nose, not really much going on. On the palate, lovely honeyed waxy character, its oaked, but restrained. A little flabby in the mid palate, but a good long finish with the acidity cutting through at the end. A very nice aged Semillon.

Medium to dark yellow; nose of pineapple, figs, banana; also oak tones: walnuts, vanilla. Medium alcohol, low acidity, medium length. Well made pure play semillon, but lacks acidity

Fully mature and open for business, this is a Semillon on steroids offering so much flowers and mature ripe fruit I am amazed. A bit one-dimensional, yet irresistible if you care for Semillon. Acidity is in place adding that little extra.

Tim Adams wines always provide great quality at competitive prices. This is no exception. Fresh, with a whiff of honey and oak. Nice weighty palate, plenty of lively acidity and fruit.
