Would have been fooled that this is from the Rhone if served blind. Even rated better after a couple of days in the bottle. Still in it's youth and worth seeking out if you like and old world style.

1 hr decant. Like a sexy, red-haired, Latin olympic athlete...spicy, full-bodied, with bright fruit, all very well integrated. After four days in bottle with the cap on, some very pleasant, deep aged-Barolo-like raisin characteristics emerged. Wish I had a few more of these.

Disappointing -- rather one dimensional and watery. Perhaps it is past its prime.

Floral nose, a subtle but pervasive sourness, reminiscent of sourdough. Earth and chalk in the finish. Quite a unique wine.
