Not as far along as the last bottle, but clearly on the other side. Virtually devoid of anything I could call "fruit" but oxidation had not yet set in. Maybe that is a bad thing--at least with oxidation, there was some taste....

Dark color indicated I had waited too long. First glass or two, the oxidation was evident, but as it warmed, the oxidized taste blew off a bit and it showed some hints as to what it once was. Still, if you have any left, these are for the very short term (as in today).

Fresh and quite vivicious on opening. No off-putting heat red fruits, light meats and garrigue. Tannins uninhibiting and casual.
Put into the decanter 1/2 hour before drinking and it all went a 2 and 8!
Fruits got much darker definite blackcurrant, herbs came to the fore on the nose. On the palate the tannin became a bit awkward and rustic. Blackcurrant earthiness and a light dusting of spice. I must say a touch of austerity to it. The alcohol and acidity nicely balanced so feel and good length. Not the juicy wine I drank a year ago.
