  • Millions of peaches, peaches for me, millions of peaches, peaches for free, LOOK OUT! Seriously was the best peaches juice I've ever had. Peaches and honey from start to finish, and the finish made it through at least a couple verses of the song. The body was excellent from start to finish, thick in a creamy way. Mouth coating but with enough acidity that it didn't feel unctuous. Excellent bottle!

  • Prior bottle was almost 19 months ago and this bottle was a step above that one. White orchard fruits and citrus at first, but as it opens up, golden apple, golden peach and a light honey note on the nose. Not sure if I got the temperature more correct this time or if this was simply a more advanced bottle. Medium bodied with white peach upfront, moving to yellow apple and golden peach through the middle, but backed with excellent citrus qualities and tart notes. The mid-body shows excellent richness and depth, a step above my prior bottle, while retaining the backside structure. The result is a wine that comes off as clean and expressive as the white fruit notes work so well with the more yellow/gold qualities. And the fact that the acidity, citrus and other tart notes have held up so well continue to exemplify Graacher Himmelreich as it shows a touch more evident structure and a touch less richness than a Wehlener Sonnenuhr. Overall, the increased complexity alone justifies the bump in score. Should continue to drink well for many years ahead.

  • This is lovely. Electric gold. Nose is bursting with ripe grapy fruit mixed with beginning petrol, fresh pear and barely ripe mango. The palate has started to mature yet retains some zesty tactile elements. The mid palate is pretty sweet with some richness. The flavors are pure and sunny. Creamy texture. Maybe finishes a bit shorter than the best. Should drink beautifully for another 20 years. Like this a bunch. (93)

  • Medium yellow gold in color. Aromatic nose shows ripe peach, kiwi, mangosteen, citrus blossoms, herbs, florals and minerals. Stellar palate follows through with delicacy and richness, with creamy citrus, honey suckle, herb poached tropical fruits, superb acidity aligned with the sweetness that shows an energetic and endlessly long finish. Mosel 'fruity' wine at its finest.
