Fascinating stuff! It manages to balance a hint of almost-sweetness with a deliciously bitter-edged finish and a lot of vegetal flavours. The finish actually reminds me a bit of gin, though my friend saw it as cucumber. I will definitely seek out the current vintage

Petrol and citrus on the nose, with peach and stone in the middle, and apricot and tangerine at the end.The palate has less petrol, but still a good amount, plus peach, tangerine, stone, and a good apricot finish.

A great wine for someone interested in trying something Austrian that is not Gruner Veltliner. Blended from Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc to you francophiles), Welchreisling, and Furmint. Honeyed aromas of ripe apple, snap pea, and marzipan with a tarry undertone. At first taste there is an oily edge quickly firmed by chunky mineral texture, great length to ripe apple and floral flavors that drive this unique wine.

Simply great wine. Approachable, easy going, yet perfectly balanced (OK, maybe a little on the sweet side :-), with a beautiful finish.

Unusual and interesting pear, peach and apple with complexity and smooth acidity.
