  • From the same batch as the earlier ones. Shy sweet red fruits, cedar, flowers and earth. Still showing a hint of tannins, bright acidity and delicate red fruits. Still quite enjoyable.

  • All tertiary, cedar, leather and mushroom, also a hint of plum and cherry. Soft warm and round palate, dry cherry, bright acidity and fully integrated tannins. This must be kept really well. Need to be drunk up but will decline slowly.

  • The top of the cork was a bit brittle but the color is vibrant red. This is a good example of the lesser classified growth from the 62. The expression is all tertiary except only a slight hint of indistinguishable red fruits. Caramel, leather, mushroom, cedar and truffle but none so obvious. The palate is soft, sweet and warm with bright acidity. The wine is very soft as the tannins are completely dissolved. It is an enjoyable wine but would have been better before the fruits faded. Paid $40 last year at Christie's auction.
