This is one of those syrahs that has gotten so vividly meaty that it could probably make a vegetarian turn pale. Seeming to be right in the beginning of a zone of perfect maturity, the fruit has by now fully developed into pure tertiary savoriness, but still has rich, succulent material, a sticky grip, and even a vibrant ruby color. It has a nice spine fromt the acid but whatever tannins were here are fully resolved, so it's pure wine-pretending-to-be-pork-broth without any radio interference.
