For the price, this wine is shockingly good. A southern Rhone nose, but with an oddly appealing bit of soy. Remarkable depth and balance. I would be happy buying this wine at $30, and it was $7. Sometimes things just work out.
This has now passed its peak or my bottle was off. This one was starting to have hints of vinegar. My dinner partners still liked it but noted it as we'll. Going to leave it unrated because I don't think this was meant to lie 5 years in the cellar.
