This one is approaching prime time but no need to rush. Black cherry, pepper, earth and damp wood with the black cherry definitely dominating. Still full bodied mouth coating texture. A touch of heat on the finish. Drink over the next five years or so.

Outstanding. Layers of kirsch, black pepper and earth. Chewy, full-bodied, but not jammy. Needs a bit more time to integrate the tannins. Last tasted 9/2003.

CT had it peaked at '07; we agree. It was beautiful and a great buy/hold from our trip to Australia in 02.
