Dark blackish purple with a near opaque core in the glass. Nose of blackberry and tar, echoed on the medium full-bodied palate. Medium plus tannins assert themselves after some air. Medium plus acidity with a medium length, dark finish. A good choice for your Thanksgiving red.

I was unfamiliar with this wine. Based on several comments below, I decanted for a half hour before serving with a variety of elegant summer picnic foods, including grilles spiced sausages, couscous salad and a vegetable biryani. Our guests really enjoyed and asked me about it. Served just above cellar temperature. I wish I had a few more bottles!

remains intense wine. Dark, tongue staining wine. Good dark fruits on the nose and better on the palate. This is a wonderful wine. Great with pasta. Still drinking wonderfully. Wish I had more.

Dark, dark, dark. Veritably inky stuff. Good fruit, mostly dark berry. Tannins are still working. A little barnyard in there. Should hold up another year or two.

Dark, deep fruits. Intense flavors. Solid strong tannins. Love any and all of Peter's wines. Perfect with grilled lamb chops.
