Was concerned this might be past due. Pleasantly suprised it was still vibrant. Very earthly umami and deep. Prune to start but opened up over the night to be quite pleasant w xmas lasagne.

This was overshadowed by the 1990 Massolino Sori Vigna Rionda Riserva Especial and the 2000 Bruno Giacosa Falletto.

Good bottle, not great. Plenty of earthy, sappy notes. Needed an hour of air to show itself.
