Drunk during Super Bowl; being from NY may have colored tasting. Opened about 2 hours before drinking. Dark color. Nose - definite blueberry tones, some vegetal aroma too (my wife said 'hay'), some leather and oak. Taste was pretty big on the fruit and I found it a very soft kind of Zin. Tannins were very soft and alcohol was totally in check. Not enough of the spicyness I like in a Zin but I enjoyed it. Definitely easy to drink.

I liked the Sonoma Old vines a lot more. Just didn't deliver much of the brambly zin flavor that I was looking for.
