  I have loved every bottle of Dunn I have had before and this is no different. Nice powerful fruit but elegant! Tannins were amazing and honestly this wine could have sat for another few years. Dunn knows how to make great wine!

  A warmer version of the Dunn Howell Mountain. Nose has black cherry, blackberry, and floral. Palate is rich with cherry, vanilla, sweet blueberry, tobacco, and fresh pine. Finish is medium + and the acidity is solid and well integrated. Tannins are fading, but I think the fruit and acidity will carry the wine another 5 years or so. Drinking well right now.

  Just average. Nothing special. Decanted, waited, ate steak alongside. 88 Average in all aspects. Must have been a poor bottle.
