This is actually village level, not premier cru. A pretty NSG that has settled down with time. Drinks more like a 2000 (or a non-ripe 2003). Definitely Nuits in character -- this wine speaks of its terroir, which has not always been the case from this domaine. Nice ripe generous fruit with a hint of spice amd wood. A great steak wine. Fun Sunday juice.
