  • Not your typical SB. Sweet floral nose, with pears and peaches; pretty sweet-tart pear, peach and citrus flavors, a tropical note (passionfruit maybe), lemon zest, and good finish, with an exotic highlight (litchee) at the end. Lovely and nicely balanced.

  • Nose - Fresh lawn clippings with notes of lemonade

Taste - Crisp, clean - loaded with apricot and citrus

Finish - Medium to long finish with some tartness on the palate, similar to under-ripe nectarines

This is one of my favorite of the "stainless wonders" from CC. I've always found it as a good seafood wine and also a good benchmark from which to judge other lower priced Sauv Blanc's from.

    Great QPR

  • Appearance: clear, pale intensity, lemon core fades to super white watery minsicus Nose: Clean, med intensity, ultra unusual nose with its ripe ripe yellow fleshed fruit, so ripe almost over ripe with peach, apricot, Palate; dry, acid med+ (but barely), no tannin, body med+, alc 13.5 med (estimate and fact) length med+ with finish of ripe peach Note that this is a fruity style of SB, not a dry high aciding New Zealand SB style. Verry different styles! Rich nectar nose of very ripe peach, crisp green leaves, and honeysuckle yield to a juicy palate of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit and tart, refreshing nectarine finish. Great apertif wine that can easily match all brunch foods.
