Medium yellow with a glint of green. Progressively saltier nose as it sat open. Medium weight, on the lighter side for Grand Cru Chablis. Bracing acidity, still slightly angular, very rocky, dry, classic lemon/lime fruit. This wine is not an all time great by any means, but it has not only persisted but become more focused over the years. Vaudesir can be very pretty but it is hardly ever as profound as several of the other crus.

Light yellow. Exciting floral and sea shore aromatics. Medium weight, crisp, only a hint of vanilla, excellent finishing acidity and herbal complexity. The wood which I found objectionable 2 years ago has been nicely integrated; this was a delightful bottle.

Medium yellow. Some lemon. Medium weight. Lots of sweet vanillin from oak sticks out on the entry, although some more salty elements assert themselves through the mid-palate and finish. Too much wood, too little Grand Cru character.

Lovely now and can probably continue for three more years. Nice acidity and minerals. I wish there was a little less oak.
