Some age is apparent in its golden hue and slightly nutty nose. The nose is layered with caramelized green apples, pecans and maple syrup. The palate is clean and elegant with green apples, popcorn and plenty of acidity on the finish. Good but I don't have enough experience with older Chablis to judge its ageability.

Mostly Jura tasting (Riga): Nose of roasted bread, roasted popcorn - even more of this on the palate. Blanched almonds. Gentle accidity, much smaller than for Jura whites. Mild floral and honey aromas that also appear in the palate. (B)

The nose is relatively muted. There are traces of green apples layered with some oxidative notes. The palate is also a fine balance of apples and notes of maple. As this is my first "older" white", I'm not sure if this is the intended evolution. However, the good acidity on the finish keeps me wondering on this interesting, if not magnificent, drink.
