Medium gold color. Light hints of smoke, steel, yellow apple peel, jasmine, lime zest. Medium+ body, acidity slowly builds from a prickly lemon peel, kumquat, river rocks and then smooths out for a finish with white pepper, unripe peach, apricot pit. Going on well at 12 years.

Brilliant golden color, haunting nose of mineral and smoke. Spectral multi-layered rich citrus flavors, constantly evolving, constantly changing, beautifully balanced, long long aftertaste. In a peak drinking window, but still young.
Delicious. Rated 2 on a scale of -1 to 3.

Consumed over two nights. Good from the start, but perhaps better on night two. It's amazing how slowly these seem to age. Based on this bottle, no rush to drink (it might even continue to improve).

(François Raveneau Chablis) Light yellow color; appealing, tart lemon, brine, mineral, citrus nose; tasty, medium bodied, poised, tart lemon, brine, mineral palate with medium acidity; could use 4-5 more years; medium-plus finish (this basic Raveneau Chablis just keeps improving every time I try it)
