Had alongside the 2012 enchanted path, and honestly this nice aged Australian gsm held its own. Purchased for ten dollars, this is still a hell of a wine. While of course very distinctively Grenache centric as opposed to the mollydookers lush blend of cab and Shiraz, this was equally well balanced, and went down very smoothly indeed. Worth every penny, wish I had more than I do left!
Wonderful tar-ish, mushroom funk on the nose. Tasty, tasty black fruit that hits the front finishing with nice acid/tannic grip and a twinge of iron. I stole this bottle, regardless it's going 92 tonight.
