Alzinger with Terry Theise (Seasonal): More acutely scented than the smaragd version, with a similar effect on the palate. Normally this might give it a crispness that makes me prefer it to the bigger, riper version. But in this case the smaragd added extra stuff without any sacrifice in the federspiel's virtues. Nice stuff, but the smaragd is worth the upgrade.

Light, delicate, subtle and a bit unusual for us CA imbibers; yet full of balance and minerals. Super pale canary color, wet stone with a hint of citrus nose; giving into a pure smooth watery mouthfeel that delivers an ultra dry chalk, mineral, slightly acidic hit. This cuts beautifully through spicy food flavors. Kinda dull, bit short, unexciting finish. Overall leaves me happy. Serve well chilled.

Clean mineral driven & simply disappears - no surprise. Versatile. Alone, with chicken pasta as well as smoked duck ramen. 2 bots just disappeard

Chalkiness. Minerality. Some spice. Fresh.
