From a 0,18 l. bottle, the last of many of this wine, that was our white house-wine during the last year. Taste: gooseberry, a bit less fresh and lower in acidity than a year ago, but harmonious, attractive. 83.

Santa Rita Flight 8/21/2009 (Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC): Interesting dark golden, almost greenish color. Lots of action on the nose, starting with fresh mown grass, then orange and lemon blossom, then tropical fruit. Quite heavy viscosity for a Sauvignon Blanc. Might not be totally dry, but comes in at 13.2% alcohol. Partial malolactic fermentation results in what to my palate is very pleasing acidity. Little or no oak treatment. A little rustic on the finish.

Taste: fresh, nice acidity, harmonious, attractive. With 5 Euro good QPR. I’ve bought some more bottles after this tasting.

Fräsch, fruktig, syrlig med visst inslag av sötma. Skulle fungera bra till basmat eller framför TV:n.

Racy lime - major cut with a good bit of the harsh. Works with ceviche well.
