2/2, vg cork, decanted and then immediately served. Medium garnet/mahogany core, pale mahigany rim. Developed nose - soil, tea, notes of mineral and liquorice, siome sweet underlying fruit too. Medium bodied, elegant and composed, more obviously fruity - plum, balck cherry even, tea and earth also, fine tannins, some richness at the core of this, vibrant acidity, good length grippy finish. Drinking well and difficult to see it getting any better from here - now and the next 2-3 years.

Bricked color, maybe a little advanced for age. I wonder about the provenance of this bottle. On the palate, smooth velvety tannins. Balanced dark fruit and earthy tones. Everything well integrated and seamless. Improving after two hours in the carafe.

1/2, vg cork, decanted 1/2 hr. Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Developed, quite complex nose, very floral, touch of tea and fig, gently spiced. Medium/full bodied, soft tannins, elegant, red fruited, tea, florals, balanced acidity, harmonious good length finish with a touch of aniseed. Excellent, drinking well, perhaps another 3-5 years.

Medium red color. Classic aromas of tar and rose petal with a touch of wood spices. Medium-bodied nicely-integrated fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length. Very elegant and suave on the palate for a Barolo. In the middle of sweet spot of maturity.
