Love the screwcap. Nitrogen blowing off upon twist off of top. Classic Mollydooker. Over the top overripe fruits, slightly candied and jammy. Very smooth. 16% alcohol well hidden.

All chocolate and currants. This is an in-your-face, high octane wine. Indulgent and enjoyable, however for me it’s something that is too much for a regular habit.

Still deep and opaque purple-garnet, very viscous, coats the glass. Powerful syrah aromas dominate, with lots of alcohol on the nose. Sweet-spicy black fruit aromas, charred wood. On the palate huge and powerful, very dense black fruits, very long aftertaste. Mature, but will hold several more years. Ric

Sometimes its good to pull one of these steakhouse fruit bombs and reset one's guardrails. This wine was true to form, with everything showing on steroids: oak, fruit, power and heat. Very much drinkable, just too much, if that makes sense. I almost feel like it needs to come with a warning label: "Beware as a host: not all of your crowd will be prepared for this crowd-pleaser -- consume with moderation".
