Showing much better than any previous '03 Potels. Tastes side-by-side with an '03 Dominique Laurent VR Beaumonts. Deep ruby color; seductive red fruits in contrast to the Laurent's black fruit. Unctuous body with rich fruit and tongue coating glycerol carrying through a hefty, long finish. Seductive wine!
Dark chery core, no sign of evolution. Dark fruits, pure red cherry and light licorice, some floral notes. Med to full body, not overly extracted nor hot for a 2003. With air, the palate is really balanced with cherry and floral notes. Even though this is simple, this is really enjoyable but I'm not sure it has the potential to become great.
