Strong yeasty nose. Tart apple with a hint of citrus with a lovely toastiness to the backend. Pairs well with most though overly faaty meals will wash it out. Had with tuna and it complimented up a storm. Lovely and delightful. Definitely at the end of the run though. Maybe a year left in the window but I wouldn't push it. And why would you with this beauty.
Enjoyed with chicken alfredo. Still bright and clean. Rather dry with lemon-lime zest in front and a mild tart apple on the back. Yeastiness is subdued as this wine is starting its slow decline but should still be good for the next year or so. Needs to warm up a bit to regain a lot of the life that was there before upon opening but it is still there. This is a classic vintage for this winery.
