  • About 30 minutes after opening and decanting this was sooo sweet on the nose, with obvious notes of straw and very much showing the roussanne in the blend. Hot on the palate, which wasn't surprising considering it's 14.9% alcohol. About 2 hours after decanting this was just really beautiful, and toasty notes came out 2½ hours after decanting.

  • Popped and poured. Nose was beautiful with tons of sugar cane, a little flint, and a hint of savory notes. Smooth on the palate. A little more than 3 hours after opening, this wine was just fucking beautiful.

  • Amber color. Ripe fruit on the nose. Drank this over an hour and it got better and better with air. Loads of orange peel, honey, yellow flowers. This is a distinct and specific wine. My first experience - have one more bottle. Its drinking in its peak right now.

  • Kleur: Medium goudgeel Aroma / bouquet: Bedwelmend en tertiair bouquet, complex en zwaar. Overrijpe abrikoos, lychee, boenwas, kaarsvet, rozen. Vanille en zoethout. Opvallend rokerig. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 14 + Smaak / Afdronk: 19 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 97/100

    Google Translate:

Color: Medium golden Aroma / bouquet: Intoxicating and tertiary bouquet, complex and heavy. Overripe apricot, lychee, wax, candle wax, roses. Vanilla and licorice. Striking smoky Taste / Finish:. Thick-juicy, moderate acidity, filming and creamy mouthfeel, retronasal impressions of apricot, honey and beeswax. . Impressively long finish General / potential: Very special glass. For many wine lovers 'over the top' for me (still) at its best. 50+ Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 14+ Taste / Finish: 19 + General / potential: 9 = 97/100

(Sine Qua Non Tarantella) Medium apricot yellow color; big, nutty, sherried, smoked fish, savory nose; older, concentrated, sweet lemon and almond palate; medium-plus finish (poured blind; I thought it was an older California white Rhone)

(Sine Qua Non Tarantella) Dark honey yellow color; hay, oak and resin nose; concentrated palate of clarified butter and lemon, monolithic though; medium finish
