The color of red brick … is this Barolo or Bordeaux? (he says jokingly…) Nose of violets, tar, anise, plum, mushroom … and dusty rose. The rose notes are beautifully intense. The mouthfeel is somewhat light (but the wine was popped and poured and not decanted), but with some time, it picks up a little weight. The flavors lengthen across the palate as the wine warms. The finish on the wine once warmed goes on forever. While I’d like to say that it was a wine of contemplation, I didn’t contemplate anything other than how much I enjoyed it. Some but not a lot of sediment. 13.5% alc. With roasted lamb meatballs set in red sauce. 09.22.22. Highly Recommended.

garnet color at the eye, this wonderful barolo is still at its apogee after 17 years. Leather and roasted coffee and typical scents of nebbiolo. Great. With M&G in a rainy fresh night one year after

Is not totally developed yet, still some tanninens and a very good glass of wine. If I had some more bottles I will wait min. a year more before unbottling the next one
