How many decent Southern Rhone style blends are doing the rounds from Victorian vineyards. Not many I'm tipping but this one is a very credible interpretation. Lightly fruited but good varietal traits come through clearly with plenty of spice, ripe prunes and hint of stinky fruit. Probably best to drink over the next year or so but don't let this worry - it's light and fresh with no dumb dead fruit.
