| | Tasted by MountainMak on 1/24/2010 & rated 86 points: light for a cab merlot blend ... light berry flavors with medium finish. pretty decent quaffing wine for mid week. (335 views) |
| | Tasted by Grillgod on 12/7/2009 & rated 89 points: Nice blackberry/plum nose and palate with a bit of bell pepper on the finish. I do start to get a little bit of chocolate and licorice and bell pepper has faded. Very good, tasty fruit and some secondary flavors, but not enough mouthfeel or finish to reach the Outstanding-90 point level. (491 views) |

| | Tasted by Grillgod on 3/22/2009 & rated 89 points: Dark ruby, almost black color looking from the side if you pour enough in the glass. It does become more transluscent with less of the glass filled up or with more light shone on it.
Blackberry, a little plum, cassis, and touch of chocolate on the nose.
On the palate, not as rich as I would like and I'm getting a little too much acid on the back end, with not as much fruit as appeared on the nose.
After some airtime I'm getting some nice mouthfeel from the tannins softening and more fruit is coming through balancing the acid much better. This is going quite nicely with my NY Strip steak.
Originally I expected to get to the mid 80's with this one, but more fruit came out and balanced the acid better than expected. It could be the Brazilian salt on the NY Steak and the salty Spanish cheese and Marcona Almonds balancing it out. I still detected a bit more acid than I would like or it would have reached 90 points. (840 views) |

| | Tasted by jsiegel on 12/24/2008 & rated 89 points: A surprisingly drinkable wine. Tase and finish both greatly improved with an hour of decantering. (876 views) |
| | Tasted by jeremy_ross on 12/10/2008 & rated 87 points: Ruby red.. almost as light as a Pinot Noir. Nose is oaky, and a little herbacious with some olives. On the palette I get cherries and smoky oak. It feels a bit lighter than typical for this style, matching the color. Mid palette and finish are lacking some structure, almost flabby. Finish is a tad bitter and buttery with moderate length. Overall, serviceable and a good value at $10. (956 views) |

| | Tasted by schnittle on 10/7/2008 & rated 87 points: Tannins on the tip of the tongue. Food friendly. Nice color. Leather and dark fruit on the nose. Slightly alcoholic smell. Could be young yet. Popped, decanted and poured. Nice mouth feel. SMooth and well balanced. Cherry flavor and some cola. (1099 views) |
| | Tasted by Cabfrancophile on 10/5/2008 & rated 85 points: Actually reminded me more of a Chilean wine than a CA wine with some herbaceous quality to the nose. There was also a subtle violet quality. Seemed to improve over the course of the bottle. Bit hollow mid-palette, maybe needs some time in the bottle as I'd suspect the components in the blend had some serious oaking. (1105 views) |
| | Tasted by Adam'n Eve it! on 9/9/2008 & rated 87 points: 3rd and 4th glass on day-2 equals ... Score! I'll be back for six more bottles and look forward to each one, no matter how many great cab savs come along to turn my head. Meritage, Napa-bordeaux, claret ...? How about one really tasty red wine? It's of the best grape heritage (majority of it, merlot which for some is the best and fun for me with almost 40% cab)--and over 14% ethyl--and, nearly vintage by now (2005). Reddest cork, a great fruity smell on day-1 and perfectly balanced by day-2: a tasty drink-alone, or with anything. (1145 views) |

| | Tasted by kitechick on 8/24/2008: typical Meritage, immediately drinkable. Typical $ 10 Cameron, great bang for the buck. (1154 views) |
